PAUL REDMOND
Lead Vocals, Harmonicas
As the founding member and primary lyricist, Paul has been and continues to be the drive behind the band. His wit, style, and tireless energy are unleashed at every show no matter how big or small. No audience member is safe! Paul is “Mr. Fat City.”
RICH CESARINI
Keyboards, Backing Vocals
Rich’s association with The Fat City Band dates back to 2002 when he took over for Fat City co-founder Joe Micarelli. He has co-written many Fat City classics over the years and continues to collaborate with Paul on new material. His other projects include Blues Mob, Jon and Juli Finn Band, The Experts and others. If you would like to book the band you will have to go through Rich!
JOHN LITWIN
Drums
As only the second drummer to hold the position, John holds the groove and feel of each tune right in place. Now with Fat City for over 40 years he is the driving force behind this very tight and punchy rhythm section. John also does occasional jazz shows with Fat City co-founder Joe Micarelli.
JOHN CHEBATOR
Guitars, Backing Vocals
John (Johnny) has shared the stage with such names as Charlie Daniels, Huey Lewis, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. His other projects include Side Hustle, an acoustic duo, and Blame the Whiskey, a popular cover band on the south shore of Mass. He maintains a very busy schedule playing solo shows as well. Johnny and Fat City keyboardist Rich Cesarini have been known to do a show as a duo occasionally. It gets crazy!
JOE SANTERRE
Basses, Backing Vocals
Joe, a professor at Berklee College of Music, is the newest member of the band. Joe excels at everything from funky grooves to straight-ahead blues. Joe and Rich are bandmates in Jon and Juli Finn Band and The Experts. Joe has released his own music and instructional materials and has endless performing and recording credits. We are very happy to have Joe in the band.
BOBBY (BREEZE) HOLFELDER
Slide Trombone
Bobby, “the pride of Rhode Island” studied his craft at Boston University and has performed with such notables as The O’Jays, The Funk Brothers, and more. He adds personality and humor to Fat City live shows. In addition to a very busy freelance schedule. He is a member of the popular Steely Dan Tribute band “No Static.” Bobby creates all our horn arrangements.
BRAD KOHL
Tenor Sax
Brad spent a few years in the Fat City bullpen as a sub player before becoming our primary sax player. He has performed with Jamie Walker & Friends, and countless local and national acts. He is a dynamic and exciting player and we’re very happy to have him to the band. Brad and Bobby are bandmates in the popular Steely Dan Tribute band “No Static.”

Fat City has an expansive bullpen of subs and top-notch freelance players ready to take the stage should the need arise.
Fat City is very fortunate to have the support of friends and family who do so much for us and ask for nothing but cheap beer!
